ElderGeek, site sponsor and resident computer nerd is also pretty handy with the tools and fabrication. Many members know he will consider building components and parts before buying them. He is a self admitted ‘Tight Wad’. He has fabricated many things from car hauler conversions to a lowering kit for his quad to race TT. He just posted a “How To:” on replacing an exhaust flange. I am sure you have, or have seen, an exhaust flange that is far from straight.
It not something you can just slide off and slide on a new one. Read EG’s thread to learn how to make this repair with a few power tools, and a few bucks for materials & welding. It’s not that hard a job really!!
