What's better than getting to do Baja once? Doing Baja twice!
Trent is doing the Baja 1000 coming up and sent us a link to his story about heading down to pre-run the course. Check out Trent's story:
The www.kendallrace.com team consisting of Adam, Noah, Dave (DGP Photography)
and I went down to pre run for the Baja 1000 on Friday. Since I will be
racing at night I wanted to pre run at night so we left Avondale at 9pm
and hit the trail at about 3:30am. My pre running plans looked like
they were drawn up by a strung out crackhead. I tried to sleep in the
truck but I only got about 3 hours of sleep. We unloaded under the
moonlight and hit the trail by 4am. I had spent all week getting my
quad prepped and fixing stuff that broke during the previous weekend’s
race so I was looking forward to riding. More >>
ArizonaQuads.com Member Trent Kendall Participates In Baja 1000
Posted by Jeremy on 2008-11-25
On Tuesday November 18th at 10am Jolea called me to say that Joe Ramos had called and left a message about a free trip to the baja 1000 if I call him back soon. I assumed it was a trip to go pre run or help pit for a team. I had no idea the 1000 was that Friday. So I called him in back and he told me that a pro quad team had a rider drop out and they were looking for a replacement but that replacement would have to leave that night. I told him I could probably do it so he said to hang by the phone while he called the team manager back to let him know. I have never driven in Mexico and definitely never raced there so I knew this was going to be one helluva experience. More >>
2008 BITD Las Vegas 150 Wrap-Up
Posted by Jeremy on 2008-10-28
ArizonaQuads.com member Trent Kendall took part in the 2008 Best in the Desert Las Vegas 150 recently and posted his story for us to read. For any other member considering a race with BITD, Trent has some great insight into the organization since this was his first outing with them.
Here is Trent's story:
Jean consists of the Gold Strike Casino, a prison, and an airport. 15
miles south is Primm which has some really nice looking casinos and 30
miles north is vegas. So i have no idea how this place stays in
business. It was engineered by midgets too. The ceilings are 6.5ft
high, even the shower head is firmly mounted chest high. However right
next to jean is the huge dry lake bed / riding area which is awesome
for any off road enthusiast. More >>
