    I am just saying. My LTR is 14/37 stock and i am at 13/37 mnow and have good pull through out. with a built engine i mayhave to go to 14/37 again or 14/38-39. He should drop to a 13 front and keep rear stock. -1 front +2 back is almost dropping 2 in the front. thats really low. You don't wanna be shifting 2-3 or more gears after and before each turn

    OP.. just do a 13T front and go ride it and see how it feels. I have no clue of how fast or whatever you are. I learned gearing only fixed some of my lowerness. most the time i was just able to pick up the pace and he gearing was perfect.

    I never hit 2nd at speedy and only hit 5th in 2 spots

    13/40 sounds pretty good i just doin alot research cuz i do go the dunes so just tryin to find to the right setup cuz i dont wannna be swappin sprokets all the time
