Thanks Jeff! I saw those, but I get the feeling that the person who made them has no idea about twist rates or angles of twist. It doesn't look like I will be able to get a bar made in time for the Snowflake race, I'll use my stock one off the old Outlaw and hope it holds up while I get a custom one made. If the new one works well, it might become my first product available for sale by Wicked Al Racing!

Al give Micha a call over at desert sands motorsports he is a local shop that does everything you can think of from some MX setups to baja 500 and 1000 builds and prep so and they are partnered with an offroad fab shop so they can fab pretty much anything you could be looking for. Great people to work with and always takes care of his customers. 480 606 8513

Thanks for the referral. Turns out I fab swaybars...whooodathunk? I will be coming out with a replacement swaybar for the Outlaw for those who just want something that will last longer than the stock ones, and I will make a high end sway bar with adjustability for those who want to fine tune their suspension and like to hammer their quad. It'll be a few months as I need to test, tune and calculate, but I'll have a quick fix on my quad by this weekend.

    Thanks!

In the interest of time, I put this bar together with three different positions for the connecting rods. It's nothing special, just solid instead of hollow cold rolled steel. It will hold up great for the Snowflake race, just don't know how stiff it's going to be. I will be doing some prototypes with spring steel rod to see what works good, but I need to order the steel from out of state so that's not on my short list of "to do's" right now.

The original bars connecting location is the same as the hole that's closest to the bend. Knowing this would be stiffer, I put the other two further out to soften things up a bit.

To follow-up on this one I found another manufacturer:

    http://www.sonicoffroad.com/Polaris%...20Systems.html

They are $$$ though, but hey, they've done stress analysis and you can get one for the front and/or rear. They also have different torsion/roll rates available.

Apparently, some people have ordered them from C&D who claim to know the Polaris pretty well:

L8ton racing is getting ready to come out with one too:
