removing springs?

I have coil custom axis with rezzies and I want to get the springs powder coated without tearing the shock apat aand needing it service. Is there anyway the bottom of the shocks come undone and the spring slides off that way?

They are pretty easy to do. Put them in a vise upside down and then (easier with two people) push down the the springs. There will be a metal end cap that will just slide right off and then the springs will come right off.

make sure they dont pc them at to high of a temp cause some shops will, and it will mess with the spring rate
