    Default Respring, revalve or both?

Hey guys I bought a bike with suspension work already done to it knowing I'd have to change it up for my weight. Would I just simply put heavier duty springs, revalve the shock or do I have to do both?

Depends on how far its off. If its close you can probably just change springs.

Do you do the same type of riding that the shocks were setup for? Are you close to the weight the shocks were setup for? If you are close, I'd say within 30 lbs, of the weight the shocks were setup for and ride the same style I'd say you are ok. Anything above or below that and different riding style then you are looking at a revalve and respring...IMO

Ya I emailed my buddy Sebastien at Elka with the serial number and he sent me back everything for it. The weight is within 10 pounds and the riding style is pretty much the same besides I'd be riding dunes with it too not just MX.
