The last couple of times I have been there there wasn't any one around. The office doesn't get much traffic, plus I would rather go there and get it as opposed to them "losing the paperwork". With everything else that you can do online these days I don't see why you can't just do it over the net and print it out at home.

I can ride on state land and not have to park on it, since I can start at my drive and go to Hysayampa River and points West, North, South, and East. In all honesty though I don't know why they require the ATV sticker and State Land Permit both. It would make since that since it is all the State of Arizona that they could get there act together enough to simply have one fee.

You can get the application on line for the State Land Permit, but you can't fill it out and send it on the net. I guess they want to keep the Post Office in business.

I cant ride on Sunday, the daughter graduated from High School yesterday and we are having her party Sat night, so i will be up all night making sure kids are being good.

Hook up with BrianG77 on RA and ask him to take you, but he is the one that showed me and was the leader for last Sunday, but you take cottonwood canyon and drive back about 5 or 6 miles until you get off the state trust and into Tonto and you park and ride back and cut across to price road and then head in.
