He was looking beat up pretty good too, I hope he recovers quickly! All of that and he has a long ride to Tucson to get home.

Well Marlin, Les and his dad took pretty good care of me. I also wanted to say thanks to everyone else that helped out. I do not remember any of it . I ended up with a cervicle fracture(not a big deal, it's not near my spine), a broken collar bone, a gash over my eye and lots of bruises. Marlin is a superstar and went out of his way to bring my quad and I home today. Time for some good drugs and sleep

Thanks again for all the help

Well hell - I guess that's racing. Sounds like everyone should make a full recovery.
I'm looking forward to the next one which will be a good primer to the next ITP. Team Big O #2 will be taking that one. That goes for all you DFR east siders too.....

    Hey Conrad!

Glad to hear it wasn't more serious, though it sounds like it was bad enough. I think when they say "Slide around the corner" it means ON your quad

Yeah, that Marlin is one great guy even if he stops racing to help someone out...wait, Katie did that too! Gotta say I am proud to be on a team with team mates like that, "Way to go guys!"

thanks guys, my axle did snap when I landed on top of the 100 footer (same spot I always aim for), looks like the axle may haev had a crack in it, not sure. I have a broken scapula (complete with random broken piece floating around) a few broken vertebrae, banged up kneed (5 stitches) and face. I am just glad my spinal cord is ok. It is scary to wreck due to parts failure, still not sure how I feel about it. Maybe I wil just stick to the desert where I belong.
I am home now in glendale.

Glad to hear you're at home recovering. You crashed directly behind me going over that jump. I was wondering where you went when I Got on back straight away. Sucks it was cause by faulty parts. Hope you are back to riding soon man!

Hope it wasn't a Lonestar axle! If so we can blame Bobby! Glad you are home and feeling somewhat OK. I got a blackeye from my crash and still have no idea how I got it. Yours is a little worse than mine though. What kind of helmet were you wearing?

I know what your scapula break is like. The doc said mine looked like a pane of glass dropped flat on a table, five chunks floating around. Glad to hear you are home and mending. Take your time healing and follow the physical therapist's training to a 'T'.

I saw Trents tire shoot off in the air and my stomach dropped.
I'm glad both of the accidents from that night are doing well.

I broke my scapula once. It was when I was making chocolate chip cookies, I think the batter was too thick, that and the scapula was made of wood. It turned out all right once I got the floating pieces of wood out of the batter.

Trent, glad to hear you're out of the hospital and on your way to recovery!
