ET Motorpark Flat Track

I know that quads are upset with them but what about trying to get some quad flattrack going once the track is ready out there?

I got an email the other day saying they had all the stuff to start building a circle track. A TT track ran through my mind, but then I remebered they disallowed quads this summer.

Another great summer is coming to a close here at ET Motopark. For all of you MXers please remember we will be closed this Tuesday August 3rd and reopen Wednesday August 4th for major track changes. We have reversed the direction of the track and brought in about 100 truckloads of dirt to create a different ET layout.

For all of you Sand Drag and Mud Boggers we will have another round of Sand Drags and Mud Dogs this Saturday night August 7th. Gates open at 5pm with runs starting at 7pm. Should be a great night with live music.

For all of you Circle Track enthusiasts at this time it looks that we will be bringing in the equiptment next week to start on the new ET Motopark Circle Track.


MX Practice schedule for August:

Tuesdays: 6pm-11pm excluding August 3rd

Wednesdays: 6pm-11pm

Thursdays: 6pm-11pm

Saturdays: 6am-11am excluding August 14th rd. #2 Summer Medallion MX Series

Sundays: 6am-11am

I'd love to run circle track and ESPECIALLY TT. Not to be negative because a TT track in the valley would make me and some others very happy but, we had a great TT track at Speedworld and we had a couple good quad showings but for the most part, the quads wanted to run MX and said TT racing was too fast and too dangerous. (I know, doesn't make sense.) Still, hopefully ET will allow quads AND bikes too. Maybe they could add some quad classes into their schedule with the cars. That way, they'd get the good numbers of cars AND have some quads and/or dirt bikes too. Would probably make for a good show for the spectators.
And I didn't forget that we weren't allowed to ride at ET because we required more water, made more dust and that the dirt bikers didn't like us. I would still go to ET for a flat track or TT race because there are no other Circle or TT tracks around.
C'mon ET, build it and have a quad class!

A buddy of mine told me the Sprint Car guys have been looking for a place sense Mazi closed. he mentioned ET long ago I thought there wasn't enough room he just smiled. Guess they found the room. My guess is the only way a quad is going to get on that track is push starting a sprint car IMHO

Wonder if any of the 'track prep' guys from Manzi would be involved if all this speculation is true? Guess we need to wait for some confirmation from ET as to what the plans are.
