    Cooler months you'd be fine with a 40w. Summer I'd go 50w.

It should be fine for the clutch side as long as it doesnt have a moly additive.

After draining the capacities are as follows:

    Engine oil change: .78L (.82qt)
    Engine oil & filter change: .82L (.87qt)
    Transmission: .55L (.58qt)

I always filled my quad to the top of the sight glass after a oil change then rechecked it after the first startup. Transmission I filled until I started coming out of the weep hole.

If you want to save some coin then buy Rotella oil from Walmart and Hi-Flo filters in quantity from somewhere. I used that combo for years and my quad ran perfect. The Rotella oil is very good and I changed the Hi-Flo filters almost every other ride anyways.

Rotella engine side 15w40 non syn white bottle(its jaso ma rated now to btw)
Bell gear saver in trans 80w

Change engine oil 4-5 hours filter every other oil change.
The rotella seems to get black really fast. This does not mean the oil is bad.
It has alot of detergents so it cleans the engine very well. It will get black VERY fast first couple of changes if you switch to it. Dont worry.

Trans depends on how I am riding/clutching 8-10 hours normally.

    .
that Tranny oil seems a little thick.

Honda's Service manual calls for the same as the Engine side
    Engine- Pro Honda GN4, HP4, Or HPM4. 10w-40, 5w-30
    tranny- Pro Honda, GN4, 10w-40
