Default Just moved to Peoria from UTah

Hey whats up guys? I just moved here from Utah and am going to MMI. I have a 05 honda 450r bored and stroked to a 501. I mainly ride dunes but Im looking into getting into a open 450 class for some racing. Anyone going riding this weekend or going to the track saturday or sunday morning? Looking to meet some cool peeps since I don't know a soul in this city.
    Thanks,
    Ryguy

    Welcome!

I'm sure some people will be riding somewhere this weekend. You're the closest to Speedworld, and they support quads pretty well.

I do have a question. Does my quad being registered and stickers current in Utah allow me to ride in AZ or do I gotta get AZ stickers and registration?

One of the desert guys would probably be able to answer that better than me. I never had any type of OHV sticker for my quad in AZ.

Most states have a grace period on interstate registrations, I know when you go from AZ to Utah they give you 14 days in Utah. You could check http://www.servicearizona.com for more registration information.
    The basics in Arizona are:
    1. Must have Title for all vehicles
    2. Any vehicle that is going to touch public land has to be registered too. ($25 a year per quad)
    3. If you are only going to be on the Race Track - you only need a title.
    4. State Trust Land permits are required (arguably) if you ride on "State Trust Land" (I think currently $20 a year per family)
    5. Quads can be road legal with the following requirements:
    a. Working Headlight and TailLight
    b. Horn
    c. License Plate Light
    d. rearview mirror
    e. Liability Insurance

The Glamis Dunes are run by the California side and require a special Dune Permit for the week or the season.

    Hope that helps.
Speedworld MX is the closest track to you http://www.speedworldmx.com
Grinding Stone MX is east of Fountain Hills and also very quad friendly http://www.grindingstonemx.com
There is also Boulders OHV area at Carefree Highway and mile marker 11.5 in the northwest valley past Lake Pleasant for miles of trails that stretch as far as Crown King and Prescott.
Most of the 'good ole' riding holes have been shut down 'due to federal dust control regulations'

Thanks for the info sazjun I do appreciate it. I might goto speedworld sunday morning. I think the 110 fuel I have has gone kinda bad. It would look blue in my fuel container but now its gone red. I started my bike up for the first time today in phoenix and while it was idling I hit the throttle just a bit and it crackled once, but once it was warmed up the throttle seemed fine.

Logan, Im more west by bell and 101 exit.
