well here is why we are going right when we get there. my buddy who is taking our stuff out in a 24' enclosed is a riding buddy that i ride with almost every weekend. Him and his wife are bringing their quads along and making the trip a vacation. So they are going down to glamis first then hitting all the best riding spots across the country. glamis, moab, i think they are goin into colorado for a day etc. So if i dont go with them who knows when i will be able to.

Got it in 02 back in Mi. From a guy I went to high school with.

Hey my mom owns a title company! Call her and she will figure it all out and help you get a title. She deals with this problem everyday. tuesday-saturday this week. opens at 10am everyday. the office number is 480-396-2525 just ask for Lori.

Two years ago there were two Marines from Camp Penelton who had to see Glamis as soon as they could. Figure it was only a couple of hours drive and they wouldn't go far into the dunes. They were experianced Marines back from the big Desert and were properlytrained in Desert Survival. They both died from exposure before they could even get back to the truck.
There are some who go during the summer.... It is my favorite time of the year to ride out there no tracks and ripples for miles. We ride at night and real early in the morning we leave our AC's running the entire time just to keep it under 80 degree's. By 8 am the sun is so bright you cannot make out shapes even with the best goggles it is also allmost 100 degree's. The wind has been blowing many differant directions making the sand unpredictable.
Do your self and your friends a favor if you want to see the Dunes drive thru on your way to San Diego. get out of the truck for a second and take in what you can you will want to come back in the Fall when you can safely enjoy it.

Biggest Show is over Thanksgiving Weekend tons of people. If you want to see lots of Hill Racing tons of freaks going down the drags and just one step this side of Mayhem `thats the ticket. also if you can go when four stroke wars are happening can be fun lots of fast quads running the hill. But just about any Holiday weekend from holloween to easter there is a crowd.
