I am about 200(give or take 5ish lbs) with gear and i can bottom out the LTR no problem.. adjust it. the LTR has adjustments that can help ya. Alot of people i have seen are selling stock lenght Fox shocks for the LTR for a ok price that will help also. You can always go long travel but you looking around 1500-2000 for a good setup

Blake ran on his Honda revlaved stock shocks and liked them.. I ran on LSR's sport arms on my LTR wityh stock length Fox float's they were nice. helped with braking bumps and a little arm pump. but i went back to stock and just needed to ride more to get my arm pump down..

Have you ever raced MX before? or any event on a Quad?

Never raced competitively, but I have done some Quad events hosted by local clubs when I lived in Colorado (Colorado Quad Runners). I also used to hit up some abandoned MX tracks in Colorado back in the days. Never went too big on jumps for fear of my equipment failing. Maybe I just need to sack up! LOL! I'll give you a call later Brent. Thanks....

Well to be honest, when i started out i only it a few jumps in the desert or dunes, but than i got on here and ended up meeting brent (really cool and nice guy!) met him out at the track and fell in love with mx! ha at first i was scared but just take it easy and dont try to out ride ur skill level, start slow on the jumps and b4 ya know it you will be flying , i think the biggest i am up to or comfortable jumping is the 50-60 foot table at speedworld

to be honest this is a great place to start, really friendly people who honestly dont care who you are or where you came from, just that you share the same passion they have for riding, and thats what its all about, there are a lot of guys here who would give ya the shirt of their back, and thats what makes the quad community so strong, if you ever wanna hit up some desert trails hit me up, i know some cool spots, and also the dunes, lots of duners here! (me included)

ya i have ridden a couple of the tracks and i think speedworld is the most forgiving for beginner cause its mostly table tops, which are a lot more forgiving than rhythm sections and doubles! main thing you wanna know when jump is DO NOT let off the gas right b4 u go off the jump or you will nose dive haha, let off the gas once in the air! haha, first time u rack yo nuts on the bars u will learn real quick! (speaking from expeirence!)

I have to agree Speed World is alot of fun to learn on. I started on the short course, then moved on to the main MX track & had a blast! A kill switch is a must just remember to hook it to your-self! I learned the hard way...haha! Welcome!
