    Default Race Resume

I am trying to put together a resume to send off to try to get some sponsors, but have no clue on what one actually looks like. I have done plenty of resume's for work, but never one for sponsors.

Does anyone have an example they can post up?

    Thanks

my resume from last year is posted here:

I did a little digging around before making that one. The only change you might want to make is cut it down to 2 pages max with less photos.

Remember, sponsors are interested in exposure. The more 'REAL' exposure you can give them the better. The more you can 'track' how much customer traffic is generated by this exposure, Mo better!! This would be done at sponsorship renew time.

Be sure to make yourself, your quad and your team are available for special events. (in between races) These events can be trade shows, store openings, employee gatherings, etc.

Then it comes down to who you are pitching to and what you're asking for. A proposal for 'parts discounts' will differ from a sponsor who may be putting up some cash from their marketing budget. If you are looking for cash then do your best to learn the companies target demographic. The more you know who your potential sponsor is marketing to the more you can tailor your "exposure package" to them.

Sponsorship hunting is a never ending job and like all things you will get a lot of 'no thanks', before your get "OK, here's 10 grand...."
