KTM 450 Motor
Well we just got back from picking up the KTM. The motor is all back together, and sounds great. They called it a factory defect, which apparently does not happen very often with KTM, but they warrantied it 100%. I have never had a factory warranty that I used, but I will tell you that this one saved me lots of $$$. So far I have nothing but good to say about KTM. Even when they had a motor failure, the dealer was quick to fix it no questions asked. I actually dropped off the quad last Monday with a seized crank, and today we are riding again, and the dealer made me feel like the customer the whole time. If anyone is going to PMP tomorrow we will see you there.

Glad to hear they fixed it for you! Could have been a bummer otherwise!

Yeah it would have flat sucked! Luckily my dealer is awesome and we were back at PMP today, motor was flawless. We definitely have proven that KTM is wrong about the little brown wire! Any KTM quad guys, leave the wire plugged in, the manual is wrong! It is faster plugged in! Now we have to decide if we want to start the ITP with the new motor, or wait for the whole quad to be done and just run our stock motor for now. Decisions, decisions!
