Default Oil capacity on 04 YFZ 450

I bought a YFZ froma buddy and have not got the service manual yet. Does anyone know the oil capacity in the oil tank and the crankcase so I can change the oil? Also I will be racing and typically used the Pure Polaris Synthetic oil in my Raptor. What type of oil does everyone suggest or use?

I use Amsoil because they're a sponsor, but I bet any synthetic would do just fine.

Yamalube4........I have always been told that you don't want to use a synthetic with a wet clutch.

    Default NOOOOOOOOOOO Synthetics

Absolutely do not use full synthetic oil in a YFZ, You will smoke your clutches. Yfz tranny and motor on same sump system, synthetic oil will cut your disc life to nothing!! I learned this the hard and expensive way!

Wow. Ok. I did that when I had my Predator, but it's gone now. (fucking thieves)

Now, I may be retarded, but isn't the clutch on my 250R a "wet clutch"? I've been told by all the R guys to run synthetic in that. Is it that different?

A buddy of mine was telling me about the HD oil which is specially formulated with synthetic and traditional oil together. It was like $7.99 a quart which I didn't think was too bad

I like to use Honda brand synthic oil in the tranny, and prem. honda brand oil for clutch side. Its only about $9 a qt. for pure synthic. less than that for prem.
