How to secure air filter
I went on my first ride with the new K&N air filter and when I got back and checked under my seat, the thing had fallen off. Do you know how secure that so it doesn't slip out during a ride?
The installation is performed by slipping the neck of the filter into the opening in the air box toward the carberator.

Did you have the clamp tightened?
Jeremy, it didn't come with a clamp. The neck of the filter slips into the opening of the air box. This filter does not wrap around the outside of the air box opening.Originally Posted by Jeremy

Where did you get it from?
I bought it online at Rocky Mountain ATV about 6 months ago.

Probably bought the wrong one then I'd guess.
sounds to me like u got a 04-05 filter there much smaller then the 06-07
even with the proper filter and clamp ours fell of a few times check it every time u ride once u str8en it out

The neck of the filter slips into the opening of the air box.
Yup! Wrong one. The go on the outside WITH a big hose clamp to hold it in place.
Either way it should have come with a hose clamp. That might have tipped you off that sumpin' was not right.
