Well I just got mine dyno and tuned this last weekend and with the Mod quad intake, Two brothers exhaust, and MSD ignitions programmer! Racers Edge got 45 Hp out of mine! And thats with over a year of pounding on the poor motor! Hopefully I can get my valves adjusted, cams, and port and polished head soon so that she will run good as new again!!!!

I have DASA, Fuel intake, and PC3 usb and it put down 49.5 to the wheels. I had it tuned by KMS Performance in Phoenix. My bike easily has 100+ hrs of hard riding on it and it doesnt seem to have lost much power at all. Eventually I will do hotcams intake and exhaust cams and possibly a h/c piston and that should get it well up into the 50hp range.

Ya if you talk to The guys at the Racers edge! They say that the Hot Cam intake cam and the stock cam retarded 5 degres is the best way to go!!

so the way it works best with the hotcam is by retarding the exhaust 5 degrees or one tooth. Would that make it idle better you think?

i think most of you are going the rite direction, but the best info for the ltr is ltr450hq.com is about the best around, and has really good sponsors,
cheap mods, well, you can only do so much, but a PIM with a controller seems to be the most popular and makes the most power with the high dollar mods.
at this point it doesnt matter, a stock LTR with the lid off and core out will still beat anything in its class. add the crbm, and a slightly better fuel, and well, it gets even better, add the fuel intake and programmer, and wow, toss a DASA on it, and holy crap, break in a set of hot cams, now you smokin, from here, add a performance injector from ATP racing, and you have the baddest ltr around. with the stock bore.
