IHMO I wouldn't run the PIM. I would run the PC.. the PC5 has auto tune, it's costly But if others on this board have it. get the tuner and you guys can split the cost cause it will work on all PCV5's, But the PC3 gets the job done.
If you do anything above a exh and intake you will more than likely need more than the Cherry Bomb. the PIM and PC allow you to tune it. which gives you the power.
You want more low end?
Have you geared the quad? Most go down 1 in the front
You can do head work. Which will mostly give you top end though. It did on my Yosh stage 3 build with stock piston
Do a piston? Cams?
I would start with gearing if you haven't already

How much money do you got?!?! KMS has a bigger throttle body for the ltr and with that they recommend increasing valve size at least +1, hc piston and some port work you should be good, not cheap though.
X2 on the PCV/autotune...it works great for me.
stock is a 36 in the rear.
I would go down one in the front. see how it feels on the track than play with the rear. You don't want to go down to many in the front. will cause faster wear on the chain. BUT---- If you gear it now than change the power around IE. Build the engine. You will mroe than likley need to re-gear it again..
Piston head work and cams are a good idea. I read the other day in a Quad magazine article that Some of the pros running a LTR are usng the stock Throttle bodies.

Yeah if you're strictly mx I wouldn't bother with the bigger throttle body...what about tire size in the rear? This helps too if you go to a 19 or 20".
throttle body and oversized valves on a mx ltr are going to hurt your low end. I would recommend a 12.5:1 piston if you want to run pump gas or 13.5:1 with a power commander and get it DYNO TUNED. that and a kms intake and a real light porting job and it will run amazing! at the shop i worked at in oregon over the summer I did a very basic ltr450 build. only mods were dasa pipe, dasa intake, porting and a 12.5:1 piston along with a pcIII and it hit 50hp and 31 ft lbs with a smooooth power curve on our dyno. GREAT running machine and was a pretty cheap build. if your interested in some ideas pm me.

I went to a larger size tires front 20, rear 21 so I changed to a 38 tooth in the rear and 13 tooth in the front, much better low end, I don't bottom out all the time and you have a much better choice of tire to select from. I love this set up.
