I went drag racing at glamis status last weekend. Bike was running good and had no symptons of anything. I got a new CRF bored sparks carb and went to install it. I noticed my valves looked a bit white its hard to tell. I pulled the plug and this is what I have. And if you look into the cylinder my piston has some carbon built up and isnt shiney at all. I have a +3 bore and stroke making it a 501, new valve train and stage 2 cam. Had a stock carb with I think a 48 or 50 pilot jet and either a 174 or 176 main jet running sunoco 110. I thought I was running a bit lean down here but I would say Im burning oil and my plug is pretty dark so I am rich. Can anyone help me out. Have I done damage or I just need to rejet? Also I got some lucas oil fuel additive. I was thinking of putting a cap full in my fuel to burn out that carbon and then change the oil after doing so.
