    Default stator help

    My brother is looking to run an 06 wiring harness and such on his 05. Found out stator plugs are different but after looking harder( we were just trying to start a parts list) the wires that are not needed for it to run(3 yellow wires for lights)from the stator are cut off right at the case. So if he gets a 06 stator will it work in his 05( if he runs and 06 harness)? We are trying to move rectifier off of subframe and put it under the hood like the 06's and so he can run lights(07 and up). Any info would be great.

    sorry that might help.... its a trx 450r. looking at the honda stuff it seems like the 06 stator looks to be different. Hope someone can confirm.
