    Default valve help

ok i have a 04 yfz450. when my motor was rebuilt my cam jurnals in the head were messed up so i bought a used 06 head. it has been running great since the beggining of the year. but i went to practice 2 weeks ago and it was hard to start after it was hot. i was thinking maby a valve adjustment? or... any info would help. how to adjust the valves and what spec they should be. thanks

I have the Yamaha manual, you can get the PDF online or borrow mine and do it yourself. It is pretty easy to do if you know you to use a wrench and read a book!

yeah take that manual and a wrench and you'll be fine ... its actually pretty easy .... if you want i printed that manual and went down to fedex kinkos and they made it into a book for me for $10 ... much easier to flip back and forth on pages than having it on your laptop ....
