Ya, it sucks that there are different versions of the Shift Pin. I'm not saying they are ALL bad, just the particular version of the BCS on that I was running.

Steve, LTR#35 and now buck have had the same problem so i do not think it's operator error

the shift pin really to me has nothing to do with the gear problem

    Shift pin relocator
"Due to a weak case design the stock LTR shifter pin location is prone to breaking, causing case damage and costly engine repair. This relocator plate bolts up to your stock cases, damaged or not."

Blake you may not land on your shifter. I do not but it could happen you never know. the relocator was a fix for the pin that's it.

Well, as we all know most companys will not pay for something breaking, even if we can prove it was the cause of the failure. The thing most companies don't realize is that they would save a lot of money fixing the "rare" problems, rather than losing all the money they will from the persons friends that had the problem. I for one know if my friend had a horrible experience with a company, I most likely won't spend my money there. If you need to hit any races or anything Buck you can borrow my kawi if needed. Has fuel customs intake, power commander 3, full TDC, and stg 2 hot cams. Would need some work like taking the lights off, and shocks are revalved for mx, but stock springs. But none the less the offer is there.

I appreciate the offer Adam. I'll be fine, Josh at Pro-ATV is hooking me up with some great prices on my parts (Thanks for that hookup Brent) and now that I'll have a new bottom end and a 6 month old top end, It will be better than a brand new bike. I might be adding some super secret upgrades but I'm not at liberty to discuss that at this time.

Buck I thought you said the bike was being built at Pro-ATV not in Area 51

Josh at Pro-ATV is getting me the parts, Kelly at KMS Performance is doing the work.

I had never heard any positive or negative comments about BCS Performance. I can tell you that I gave them the information I found and the way they've handled it has not been positive.
