    it's under the tank.

You need to remove the tank to replace it.

The line from the pump that goes up to the tank. where the lines connects to is where the filter is. the Fuel shut of screw is also there.

Thanks one more quick question. I already have my tank off anyway. Do I have to drain all the gas or what? Is it between the tank and on off switch or between the switch and filter?

it's inside the housing that has the lines that go to it from the tank and to the pump. it has the fuel cut off screw in it. the filter is in that. a few screws take it apart

Ok sweet thanks. I won't have to worry about a ton of fuel dumping out of there will I?

i have a 07 ltr. i had problems with my fuel filter the night before a race. found it cleaned it and got it all back together. i would suggest just removing the stock filter and replace it with a in line filterin front of the pump. that way if it does get clogged you have access to it with out removeing the tank.

    I wouldn't.

ATP race Engines is very knowledgeable on the LTR and recommends to keep the Stock fuel system

The LTR's fuel system was built with that filter for a reason and Works best with it.

I did the inline switch rode the quad 3 times and went back. I noticed i had a very small bog problems with the inline.

I took the swirl filter out of BOTH of my LTRs and put inline filters in place, I've never had a bogging problem... 4 years and still running strong....

It's all good. Each quad is different.

Thanks for all the great advice I will look into each way a little closer. Anything making me remove the tank less is a plus for me. That tank is horrible to mess with
