Default 05 trx added hotcam need jetting advise

I have an 05 trx 450 and put a stage 2 hotcam in my bike and main jet is at a 175 I believe. I need to do my main in order for it to run right from what I'm told. What size jets should I be running after doing so. And I belive the cam is an intake cam

The 450R is a SOHC engine - meaning single over-head cam. That one cam controls the intake and exhaust valves.

Did you already change jets? Did you try starting it yet?

im not sure stock jet size i was hopin somone would know. and i wasnt sure when it came to the cam situation people kept sayin oh theres two. so thanks for they clerification there. like i said i threw in the 175 main and it still was runnin horrible. you could start it and run it with just the main jet changed but if u got on the throttle at all while riding it falls on its face so i was told change out the pilot and i should be set so before i go buy the size i was wondering what size to get if anyone knew when thay camed there bikes.

Please don't take this the wrong way Jeff.... but it sounds like your knowledge level of the whole thing is pretty minimal. Your best bet, which will probably save you money in the end in case you damage your quad, is to take it to Rudy at DFR and have him dyno tune it for you. A conversation with Rudy about jetting is worth more than the price you'll pay for the dyno alone. From that point you'll know its jetting correctly and can adjust jetting to accommodate future mods accordingly.
