    Default 06 trx electrical problem

    ok all, i need help getting my honda started. it will turn over and try to start.(backfire in the exhaust). had the head redone and valves adjusted, tried another coil and wire, new plug, and another stator and cdi. any clues. i am ready to have a big bomb fire. benny

    yep. sounds like timing or extremely off jetting. will it start with the choke on?

    Make sure the timing isn't off by 180 degrees. There is 2 top dead centers.

    yes checked timing several times and also had a fellow racer to check it out and he also said it was in time.

    Triple check the timing. Use the flywheel and not the crank gear. It's a little more precise.
