    Default LTR Back from Dyno...

I had KMS Performance (602.442.4340 www.kmsperformance.com)put my bike on the Dyno to get my PCIII programmed correctly with the engine upgrades I added b/w race seasons. I don't know what the HP was stock, but I did a new piston, intake and exhaust cams with a 5 angle valve cut. I like the results...

Great improvement with the tuning. What compression piston? What cams?

Kelley is a great guy but I really don't see how you can FULLY tune a bike with only 4 runs! Maybe there is some reason behind this that has to do with the EFI. Maybe Rudy has some insight there.

I'm not sure where you are getting the 4 runs from. I think you mean the 4 lines but they are HP/Torque before and HP/Torque after. This is only showing 2 runs. It's the initial run, then the last run. IDK how many runs he did in b/w to tune it. The 2 dark lines are my HP Before/After and the 2 grey lines are my torque before/after

    CP 13.5 Piston
    Hot Cams Intake/Exhaust Cams
CT Racing did the 5 angle cut/shim/valve springs

Look at the run numbers on the sheet - 001 (first run) and 004 (last run).

Have them email you the run files (.drf files) and you can view them yourself and see the timestamp on them to see how much time the quad actually spent on the dyno.

    Ahhh, I didn't see that. O.K. I'll ask.

Looks like stock is 35HP, Full Yoshi Pipe and Cherry Bomb brings it to 42 which is about where I was at last season.

That HP number seems about right for that dyno. Its a pretty honest dyno from what I've seen. Definitely won't be breaking any records on it thats for sure. Its not like Dasa's dyno.....

For comparison... I think it was my mid 08 build that made 56.xx on the KMS dyno. My 09 build (tiny bump in compression and different head) made low 60's on Dasa's dyno.

Where you're at right now is about perfect for a MX quad if you ask me. I wouldn't even bother trying to get more power. There is a point when you have too much power and then spend more time working on suspension, gearing and tire pressures that its almost not worth it AND you'll often get worse holeshots (on short holeshots) cause you'll be struggling for traction.

He will be struggling all season long on holeshots!

I made a few modifications while I was rebuilding it that will ensure he is last to the first turn!!! LOL

GREAT lookin results! I love the way the torque curve jumps up on the last run. And I can't believe how much BOTh curves smoothed out! That HP is very linear...almost like it's supposed to be that way! hahaha! You're really gonna enjoy that low-end on the track my friend...
