    Default yfz jetting

    any suggestions on jetting for an 04 yfz with a full hmf pipe and full ron woods intake. getting flames when i let off the throttle. just wanna see what every one else is running. other than intake and exhaust the motor is stock.

    DFR can set you up with a full Dyno test and tune for $149.99 plus jets. HP/TQ report, all done on our DynoJet using our air fuel monitoring system. No guess work!!

    Can have you in and out in a couple days.

    im running a full yoshi and a pro design k and n kit with no screen and no airbox lid and im running a 48 pilot jet, needle is on the 5th clip and a 160 main jet. and the air screw is 1 and 1/2 turns out and im running the dyno jet kit.

    Honestly i would recommend a dyno and tune from DFR or a local shop. That is the only way to get it running and tuned exactly right. OR you can just play around with other jets sizes.....

    many of us get there quads running just fine without a dyno. And many of us can't afford $150 to tune our quads.

    My 05 has a full pipe, Pro design K & N , cam mod, and a 12.5/1 piston. Stock carb. needle at 4th groove, 48 pilot, 165 main. But it does pop on deceleration. No "flames" though.

    Yeah we def cant afford the $150 for a dyno/tune. We are just gonna mess with the jets til she runs nice Thanks anyway, maybe some day ill get her on a dyno....
