Default Not starting, cold start problem?

I have an 05 yfz450 stock motor, just an intake and exhaust, did a tune up on her [oil change, carb clean, wash and detail] ran great Monday rode it around for a bit, went to go put air in the tires and load it in the truck to pack for the dunes and now she's not starting, cranks and back fires but isnt running. Tried with choke tried without, tried holding the throttle wide open, tried pumping the throttle, tried leaving the throttle alone, wont do anything but crank. Ive sat there cranking it for a decent amount of time hoping it would just warm up but no luck.

Any ideas? im hoping its just too cold out or something, its probably 50-60 outside right now and hasnt been much warmer than that all day. I leave for the dunes tomorrow at like 5 and REALLY need to get this figured out

Is it getting gas? Can you smell gas? Does it have gas in it? When you wash it, do you stuff a rag in the intake, did you forget take the rag out? Do you have a kill switch?

Im assuming its getting gas because its back firing, and i smell gas, and it has gas in it. No i didnt stuff a rag in the intake, i dontt remove the seat and make sure not to point water directly in the intake or exhaust. It started and ran fine after washing on monday so i dont think that could be it, and it didnt have a problem starting before so i dont think its the valves. i do have a killswitch, and yes the key was in the killswitch, i just put the battery charger on it and it only charged it for bout 5 minutes before saying it was full so its not the battery.

Check to see if the stock kill switch is turned on. Also, check to see if the ground wire on your aftermarket kill switch is still grounded to the frame. It may have came loose. Start there and I am sure someone else will chime in soon with more ideas.

UPDATE: went out this morning to start tearing off the plastics and what not, decided to give it one last try, sure enough, started on the first crank. So apparently my yfz doesnt like any temp under 50 degrees.

But thank you for all the ideas

Depending on how she's running while at the dunes [only going to be there for a day or so] ill start looking into it more, its very possible that i did get something wet, im bringing an extra spark plug just incase, along with some starter fluid lol

When was the last time you got your valves adjusted? I would look into that if it starts happening again.

Ill check it out, i had no problems at the dunes till i almost looped it racing someone up the hill and got my ass ran over, just got back from ER my mom was freaking out lol. But even after that, she still ran like a champ, this is the first time i've personally had paddles on her and i was severly surprised with the difference.
