    Default intake ?

Hey guys i was taking my intake apart to clean it and the thing is all torn apart and bout to rip, so i am thinking since i only really ride mx, and some dunes, i know i am going with a foam filter, so i aint getting into that debate, but whats the difference between the following

    ESR
    FCI
    Velocity
    Ron Woods

Besides the pricing they all seem to be the same, any imput would be greatly appreciated

    Mitch

I have an 07 and on mine I just run with no air lid and a UNI filter, works very well. I am not totally convinced that these high dollar intakes vs a good filter with no air box lid are really all that they are cracked up to be.

thanks, i am just tryin to getta feel, i am thinkin bout it, just dont have the funds, if i do anything if will most likely be the prodesign kit, or the dasa kit. I was running with outta lid to and just took the snorkel off today when i took the tank off so i can clean my carb, i am so lucky my motor aint blown right now

Hey Mitch, do you still have the stock air box lid? if so, cut it out like the HRC lid, it will run alot better than no lid at all.

Run a stock 05 airboot with a dasa ring that allows a 4 1/4 id filter.

FCI is the best intake I have ran and has provided the most power and I have tried every intake you listed! Just my 2 cents!

I'm running prodesigns but if I had the money to spend, i'd go with FCI. On the other forums I am on, a few guys did dyno comparisons and FCI had some nice gains over prodesigns and others and this isn't a fci dealer, just some local dyno guys. These were done on raptor 700's so might have different numbers on a trx
