    Default quieter pipe ?

i just recently brought my 1st quad and it already came w/ a team alba pipe. i like the power that it packs but the dang thing is so loud. do you guys have any suggestions to any other pipes that'll have a softer tone?
    thanks

the GYTR Oval is pretty quiet, but I felt was down on power. Both Dasa and Venom make some very powerful pipes that have quiet cores that can be ordered and will get them below the 99 decibel levels required by some riding areas.

yfzcentral.com and bluetraxx.com both are good sites with tons of info on the YFZ's and bluetraxx covers all Yamaha's.

Alba is the loudest pipe ever! I think my yoshi on my Z isnt too bad, i had an alba but then got the yosh cause the alba is a POS also my tabs broke off when i rode, cost me a race. I would suggest the yoshi

Alba has a silencer tip that brings the noise to 99db that you can buy for $100. You could also think about getting it repacked.

thats true, but my friend who had it yfz had the full alba and repacked it all the time, idk why but it had to a lot for somereason. putting 100 bucks into that pipe isnt worth it in my opinion, i have had very bad experience with albas products

I have the RS2 full system, and love it, only ridden with it twice, but have no complaints, the only thing that i dont like is that i will have to drill the rivets to repack it, but i dont think its that bad...

I have only heard it on my 400 but i dont think it would be much different, my alba and my friends alba on his 450 was almost the same loudness

Yoshi is a good pipe and DASA too, but for the YFZ I would look else where. NMotion, ESR, and Jardine are great pipes for the YFZ. The Ron Woods pipe is also a solid choice. I ran a Duncan Racing pipe on my '04 and it was good too but much pricier than the others.
