Default anyone heard of this big bore kit?

Hey guys, Im finally starting to get to my 05 450r project i have laying in pieces on my shop floor. I came across this big bore kit made by cylinder works. Im not sure if ive heard of the company before, but it rings a bell. Has anyone on here ran this kit? It looks like a pretty decent kit to me..Just wanted some of your guys' opinions..

Cylinder Works is the same company as HotCam.

I haven't heard anything bad about their big bore cylinders, excpet for some guys that paired them with HotRods +3 cranks.

Why are you wanting to go big bore?

well, i find my self riding more at the dunes than i do anywhere else.. unless im on a bike. i talked to a guy at glamis a few months ago, he had a 480 big bore, ported head etc. and he had the fastest 450 at the hill. it was a trx too. im kinda just tossing it around at the moment. i would like to get into riding mx but im not sure if i would be any good at it

If your going to ride mx then I would hold off on a big bore kit. Its easier to learn to ride a track with a stock engine in my opinion. If you are going to build yor engine then I would definetly talk to Rudy at DFR before buying anything. He knows what companies are reliable and what not.
