    Default Motor rebuild!

Ok I have an 06 LTR and after the last ITP race I wanna do a complete rebuild! But I don't wanna do the motor work! I want a hi-comp piston, ported head, new clutch, etc. A complete rebuild from the ground up. But who should I take it to! Has anyone heard any good or bad about Yves Edge Performance? Or should I send my motor to someone like DASA? Or what about Pro Circuit? Or any other shops? Please give me your info!!!!!

I have heard good thing about DFR and had good experiences with them so they are currently building my engine. It is set to be dyno tuned next week and I am racing a 300 mile race in nevada in 2 weeks. I can give you some more feedback after all that happens.

I vote for Rudy @ DFR too. No personal experience with DFR other than Rudy himself taking time to speak to me answering my noobie questions when I was a new quad rider. But I have never heard anything negative. Which in my book speaks louder due to the fact people are very quick to b!tch rather than praise.

I can give you the number for Yoshimura's racing division. They built the motor in my YFZ450 and it was a screamer. I went for the full race build and the motor lasted about 75 hours before it needed to be rebuilt. Obviously if you went a little tamer on the built, the motor would live a lot longer. Also, Yosh races the LTR's so they are VERY familiar on building them to scream. They have different packages to meet your needs.
