Honda guys, jet size?

Hey what size jet you using for approx. 4000 ft elevation? I got an 08 TRX-450er and headed up to the page race. I dont want to buy a jet kit for $60 to use just 2-3 jets outta the whole thing.

I believe I will be using a 160 main jet...

I believe I have a 155 and a 165 if you want to borrow it...

Yeah... I believe it is a 160 main jet that I run up there.

If I remember right, I believe the 160 ran just a hair rich up there for me last time, but I believe I will still run the 160...

What you suggest running down here in the valley? What do you normally run?

Well... I had my quad dyno'd here in the valley, and I believe we went from a 180 main to a 160 main jet. I went up to Page last year, and I brought other jets to use after the pre-run, thinking that I may need a 155, but I felt it ran pretty good, so I opted to leave the 160 main in there for the race. Again, it felt a "hair" on the rich side, and personally, I would rather run slightly rich, than lean...
