About LinkBacksi'm throwing a 13:1 piston in my yfz pretty soon and I was wondering should I hone the cylinder or not. My friend says no because of the coating. I havent pulled it apart to see how the cylinder looks but if it's good can I just throw it in

It takes a special kind of hone to hone Nikasil. But yes, it should be done. Where are you located?

That's a funny subjectRight now I'm in Laramie Wyoming. Yes I will be moving to Arizona (glendale) in a few months. I guess I'm getting a little anxious to ride the desert! This forum is really active too which is awesome cause it really makes me want to move down there!!!
