Predator 90 fuel problems (2 stroke)

Has anyone ever had any experience with these bikes? My 06' will only idle/run with the choke on full or 1/2. I have cleaned out the carb jets twice, primary and main, all clear. Also replaced the fuel filter and checked the tank vent. I tried to set the slide screw thinking it was to low, didn't help. With the choke off, it starts backfiring through the exhaust(lean condition) and eventually stalls out. I'm posting on other sites but thought I'd try here first. Thanks for your time.

Probably my own fault. The pilot jet and passage was evidently restricted, not plugged though. I ended up clean them out with my jet drills and using an ample amount of carb cleaner and compressed air to clean them. Then when I got it back together, it started flloding horribly. Found out again I left the pilot jet a might to loose and it rattled out. The factory manual isn't that clear either. Good news is that I now can rejet that bike in about 15 min.

Jus' funnin' ya! Anyways, i posted it on here cuz I kinda trust the opinions on here, but I guess thats what I get for being the black sheep and buying a polaris.

It sure seems that way. Though this time I didn't break anything. Just a bruised butt and severely bruised elbow. Elbow pads and neck brace are being purchased before racing again.

Maybe I'm getting better on my landings.

As far as 2-strokes go, I know enough to be dangerous. I had to crack the book when I was jetting my YFZ. It too made a small error, coudn't count air screw turns...

What are you doing Sunday? Another Polaris rider might hook up with me and go out to watch the Whiplash race. Let me know if you want to go.

I'd love to go, but I have a few side jobs to get done. Trying to earn some extra cheese for street tires for my quad and such. I wioll take a rain check or catch ya out at the TT's next time.
