I would be one of the first people to bash a bad shop, and i agree if a shop is bad tell as many people as you can how bad it is. But i to agree that this story sounds like such crap, I live to far away (in surprise) for me to think about using DFR as my main shop of use. Although one time i bought an exhaust from someone and they recomended rudy, i called him up and he told me everything, i told him all that was done to my quad and what exhaust i had. Needless to say after this phone conversation i had with him he sent me main jets, a pilot jet, a needle and an air screw. I got everything and set it in as he said air screw turns, needle clip and all. It was dead nuts. It runs perfect and he didnt even see my quad. Over all i was pretty impressed.

ok one more stupid thing to point out here,,, most people on here have a screen name that means something.
So HONYZF440 i take it that you ride the new honda yzf 440 quad???

I have talked to Rudy a few times on the phone and 1 time in person some time back....... I DO KNOW MY WAY AROUND A BIKE, but RUDY is MUCH better then MOST of us here are, thats why we constantly REFER other to him for ANY questions they have....

Normally he can walk you through your problem over the phone, AND Can-Am WOULD NOT have made hima team mechanic if he was a GOON!!!!!!

And RUDY, I would recommend ANYONE I KNEW to your shop! Although I ended up taking my bike to Lonestar directly (nothing against you or your shop, I know someone there) I still think you know more about the sport than anyone else here.

Dont worry about that asshole! He probably had no CLUE what he was looking at! Keep up the GREAT work and all you do!

Rudy was a super cool guy.. when i bought my cam n pipe from him i asked him if he had time to install my cam he asked when do ya want it back i said before the weekend he was nice enough to say no he couldnt have it done by the time and i thought it was cool even though he couldnt do it that he was able to atleast tell the truth...

Anyways not much merit in the original poster and i dont beleive it for a second.. and all my dfr stickers will stay...the blue one on my truck and the pink one on my wifes avalanche...hahaha

Ok here is the deal you all have great responses, and I can understand where you may be coming from. This may be my first post on "az quads" but I'm certainly not new to atv forums. We all go to the same forums so its just another place to talk. The only reason I jumped on this one and right away and said something bad. Is because as soon as I saw dfr had a spot on here and saw that Rudy replys I wanted to hear what he had to say. I don't actually think that Rudy is a bad mechanic or a bad guy. As a matter of fact I know he isn't the one that worked on my quad and I apologize for bashing him personally. However I was certainly not satisfied with my experience at DFR as a whole. And Rudy you will here from me.. I'm far from a coward and I plan to personally come to the shop and discuss this with you, I appreciate your offer. As a business owner I'm sure you can't over see everthing in your shop that is why you hire good techs and people you trust. However its also someones responsiblity to make sure that if a mechanic does a job or replaces parts that the customer is actually getting what they paid for. Who knows maybe you don't even have the same people working for you. And again sorry for approaching the DFR forum like this but I was still pissed even after all this time. And as for my clapped out quad with bad gas..pm me and we can run it sometime.

When then?? The longer you take, the more of a coward you look like. The forum is obviously not doing you any justice.

All I know is it is now day two and you still have no credibility, all it takes is a call or PM, or show up like you say you are going to. Problem solved.

Another FYI, I have already checked my service history from Jan 1st 07 till today on every single machine that I did any shock service or jetting on and every customer has returned since. I keep track of everything.

I don't remember bringing any venerial disease up, but hey, it's your dog, walk it any way you want. What I said, or meant was, when anything with that has rubber tires sit for an extended period of time, they get "flat spotted" and "tired" as in tires. Perhaps not the best grammar, but I was trying to keep it on your level. The rest of my post related to "cobwebs", thus lending credibility to the post. as for "run it?", go ahead, I have my own quad to ride. I'm not gonna race you, I out grew that long ago. When you grow up and handle business like you would want to be treated, then we'll talk. No harm meant, I just didn't like the way you attacked another mans business like a whining ten year old. Peace out! kumbaya!

I cant get over how NICE you are acting after you have been called out by EVERY regular on this site AND the OWNER of the business you bashed!

I guess i would understand a little BIT if your story went more like, well after talking to them i STILL didnt get my concern fixed. BUT it didnt read that way and you STILL havent talked to him PERSONALLY.

Im sure Rudy will have no problem letting you do all your own work from now on, that is if you really know how to do it!!!. AND i doubt that you will get much help from here when you do have questions! YOUR credibility is SHIT.....Think before you open your mouth and BASH a well respected and VERY knowledgable businessman!!
