    Default Precision Steering Stabilizers

These things seem to be a necessity but sure are expensive. I've almost ordered one several times because I hear stabilizers in general make a world of difference. How much can you get one for? It would be for the KTM. Thanks.

When I used to woods race I had a Denton Racing stabilizer and it worked really well. This was the type that mounted to the frame and the middle of the stem.

Any stabilizer is going to be an improvement on nearly any quad. The Precision is the best on the market (to date). I would say the PEP would be the next best thing, then the "Denton" 7 click type.

    Precision $485.00
    PEP $200.00
7 Click type $169.99 (we recommend the Streamline Billitanium, mainly cause they offer them in several different colors)
If you don't know, ask and i'll tell you!!!

I have the Streamline Billitanium. Sounds fast does'nt it?? It's also rebuildable, some other "stick type" dampeners are not. If you race & practice alot I would go with one of the other two. I have heard where some racers have had to rebuild/replace the stick style before the racing season was over. But for a recreational desert/dune rider like me, the stick style works fine.

I do notice a big difference in dampening between clicks 1 & 7. Just a matter of dialling it in to your preference.

Thanks Rudy! I think I'll end up getting a Precision at some point in time, hopefully before WORCS Round 1. I also want to get one for my Honda but I think a "stick" type will be perfectly fine for that.

I have ridden both and I have seen the inside of both. I will continue to put my hard earned $485 down on a Precision Racing stabilizer without even giving it a second thought.

I know Precision been out for some time and the guys that have them love them. The thing is I can get the Elka for 385 (around there). Trying to figure out if I want to send the extra for the Precision.

I have a precision and dont really notice a HUGE difference. Anyone here got any good advice on settings or why I dont feel this HUGE difference. I never use to run a stablizier, and this was my 1st so I would have thought that I would have noticed a big difference. Need to know good settings for WORCS and then aggressive fast desert. Thanks.

Ask Max how he has his setup. I think his is a little to stiff for me, but you can tell a huge difference from my quad with nothing to his precision. Heck when his quad is running its like a cadillac..
