    Default Used tire question

Kenny, is there a market for used tires? I have bought a new to me, used, Z71 and it has brand spankin' new Wrangler RT/S P265/75R16 on it. Basically a street tire. I want to put a set of tires on it with a little more aggressive tread.

Should I just put them up on Craig's List or do you have people asking about used tires?

It's always hit or miss with the size but that size is popular. If they were LT's and/or a 285 instead of a 265, we'd be talking. A friend in Cali needs a set of used 285/75R16's that I've been keeping an eye out for. Since you know I'll give you the absolute best price I could on tires regardless if you had a trade or not, I'd say list 'em on Craigs List. Then bring that cash in to me and we'll throw some 49" Super Swamper Irok's on there. Or, is that too aggressive? I do have a set for sale!

I figured Craig's List would be where they go. And I know your prices rock the free world. Just didn't know what my options where.

Yea, Swampers are a touch to much......

Looking at the BFG All Terrains like I have had before or equivalent. Mainly sumpin' to be able to get me in and out of the sand at Glamis pulling a trailer.

We will be talking in the future.

BFG ATs are the way I would go. I have over 76,000 miles on the set on my work truck and there's still plenty of life left! Those weren't nice and easy "higway miles" either.

I agree. I have had them on my truck for years. Enough tread to get you through the desert terrain, not too loud runing down the pavement.

My old '88 (Big Red) has pulled it's share from the beaches of Rocky Point with these on it.
